Holyhead Waterfront Redevelopment Scheme
Conygar Holyhead Ltd is preparing plans for the Holyhead Waterfront Regeneration Scheme.
Prior to submitting a formal planning application to Isle of Anglesey County Council, Conygar Holyhead Ltd. (Conygar) is conducting a statutory 28-day pre-application consultation programme in accordance with the Planning (Wales) Act 2015.
Conygar is leading the regeneration of the Holyhead Waterfront with plans to transform it into a mixed-use development consisting of a new marina, residential properties, including the conversion of Soldiers Point and Porth-y-Felin House, set in a publicly accessible and attractive landscape.
This statutory pre-application consultation will build upon the informal (i.e. non-statutory) community engagement programme that was undertaken in early 2021. In light of the restrictions around the COVID-19 Pandemic, this engagement programme utilised digital means of communication and featured a virtual public exhibition.
