• Holyhead Waterfront Redevelopment Scheme

Welcome

On 18th October 2021, Conygar Holyhead Ltd formally submitted its planning application to Isle of Anglesey County Council for the Holyhead Waterfront Regeneration Scheme. The planning application was on 17th December 2021 validated by the Council and allocated a reference number (FPL/2021/294/EIA).

Conygar is leading the regeneration of the Holyhead Waterfront with plans to transform it into a mixed-use development consisting of a new marina, and residential and commercial properties, including the conversion of Soldiers Point and Porth-y-Felin House, set in a publicly accessible and attractive landscape.

The submission version of the planning application, available to view on this webpage, takes into account the comments received as part of the recent statutory pre-application consultation process, and the informal (i.e. non-statutory) community engagement exercise that was undertaken earlier in 2021. The results of these exercises are contained in the Pre-Application Consultation Report.

In light of the restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic, and also the size of the supporting documentation, this website has been produced to ensure that the Council’s consultees and any interested members of the general public has safe, effective access to the full package of planning application documentation.

Should you wish to make representations on the content of the planning application, these should be made directly to the Council, as there is no facility to lodge them on this website.
